At the Vineyard, we know that our children are a trust from God. We strive to teach our kids about God, Jesus, and the Bible in a nurturing environment while embracing individual stages of growth. We offer avenues of positive interaction and learning through Sunday morning lessons and occasional events throughout the year. We value our kids and take seriously the responsibility to train up children as God has intended (Proverbs 22:6).
We train up our children through: Story time, lessons, Bible verses, crafts, hands-on-learning, practical life application and more.
DID YOU KNOW….
We run background checks on every Children’s Ministry Teacher, as well as screen applicants with interviews and Volunteer Ministry Applications.
We maintain weekly check in procedures for all children and offer ID tags for child safety as well as parent/guardian security.
Teachers are trained and have crisis response plans in place in case of emergencies. If you would like a copy of procedures, please contact the church office.
We encourage new visitors to please come and meet your child’s Teacher before or after a Sunday Class. Feel free to ask questions and get to know us a little better. We have an “Open Door” policy in that any parent or guardian is free to check on their child at any time during class or church service, and if you have very young children or infants, parents/guardians are welcome to come into the class and join us if they wish!
If you have any questions about our Children’s Ministries, please contact us at the church office anytime.
